BTS가 6월14일 병역 문제로 인해 그룹 활동을 중단하고 일부 멤버들의 솔로 활동을 시작하겠다는 뉴스가 나오자 업계와 전세계 팬들이 충격을 받았다. 그 결과, BTS의 소속사 "하이브"의 주가가 폭락해 하루만에 시가총액 2조원이 증발했다. 하지만 6월17일 오전에 주가는 다시 15만원으로 회복했다. 소속사 하이브는 현재 팀 해체는 전혀 고려하고 있지 않다면서 해체설을 부인했다.
